With a bare 11 and several new players, LIN3 set off to play a newly formed Bolnore FC at Tim Farmer Rec.
The pitch was in good condition compared to several seasons ago.

The first half went well considering new players and experienced heads trying to play together for the first time. With some excellent defending by new man Tino (MoM), and with shots at both ends the first half draws to a close at 0-0

The wind and rain play a large part in the second half with Bolnore going ahead at 60 mins.
AT 75 mins, a good run of play by Lindfield puts us 1-1, with a Goal from Josh O'Reagan. We then get a penalty, Young Leo steps up and drive a low hard shot but the keeper, playing a blinder, saves it.
Bolnore go ahead again with a low hard shot, which we failed to clear, and the ball skids off the wet surface and below the keepers legs (2-1).
The rain is now lashing down. And Bolnore take a long shot that gets caught by the wind and sails into the top corner (3-1)
Lindfield battle ahead and with a few promising breaks Bolnore concede another penalty. Miles steps up and slots it down the middle (3-2).

In hindsight, with a few pairs of fresh legs, we could have contained Bolnore. Well done lads, the outcome will be different next time.
